First of all lets talk about the state of New York where the Senate has
approved a measure on Wednesday to legalize the sport of MMA.
I was really excited when I first heard of this but there is more to it: New York has a 9 BILLION dollar gap in its budget so speculation is that they voted in favor
of MMA Events so they can get the 2 million in sales taxes that MMA events
would bring to the state.
It's a great victory for MMA whatever the reasons are we will take it!
The boys over at MMASucka radio had Carlos Condit and Rory Macdonald on there
radio show yesterday and are having Showdown Joe vs Ryan Phillip Lam on June 19. It's a great show
to listen to, they had a few technical difficulties yesterday but they still
had both the fighters from UFC 115 on the same show. You can download the
show to your Ipod or it is now available directly on BCMMAA.COM!!
Also on Saturday June 19 the the 2010 West Coast Submission Championship will
be in full effect in Surrey (Harold Bishop Elementary School; 15670 104
Avenue, Surrey, BC) from 9 am to 5 pm. Best of all, its free to attend and we heard of Sarah Mcleod competing for Team Denarius.
As usual we will be there on site so come down we will be giving away 2
Tickets to MMA The Final Fightdown on July 9 and we will be releasing our
BCMMAA.COM apparel!

Due to the success of his first book entitled "Got Fight?", Forrest Griffin is now coming up with a new book which will be out in August. The new book will be entitled "Be Ready When The Shit Goes Down: A Survival Guide to the Apocalypse."
Take a look at this video of Cyborg and a Reporter.. who have made a "loser drinks their own Urine" Match. Basically if the reporter can last 2 minutes in the ring with Cyborg... then she has to drink her own piss. BUT... if the reporter cannot last the 2 minutes in the ring with her.. then he has to drink his own piss.
So who ends up drinking their own piss? Want my opinion on this. BOTH OF THEM ARE LOSERS FOR EVEN AGREEING ON THIS.
