BE A MAJOR ARTWORK

In 2008, Creed was invited by the Tate Museum in London to create a new work for their Duveens Gallery. This artwork, entitled Work No 850 will be included in our exhibition. The work involves having people run through the museum at fixed intervals, followed by an equivalent pause, like a musical rest. It received great acclaim when shown at the Tate.

This is the first time it will be seen in North America since its premier at Tate. We are looking for runners to help us present this work. Working in teams, you will run one at a time through our museum (approx 118 metre path) as fast as you can and "as if your life depended on it." YOU MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT. It is similar to interval training and quite strenuous.

We are looking for runners who can commit to 4 hour shifts during our public tours on Thursday & Saturday afternoons from May 26th to October 22nd. We estimate it takes 30 seconds to run the course through the museum.

You can choose to participate only once, occasionally or regularly.
