Youth Outreach Program at Clinch MMA




Clinch MMA in collaboration with local professional MMA fighters Tak Sasaki and Paul Cheng recently begin a Youth Outreach Program at Clinch MMA in Burnaby every Saturday from 230 pm to 4pm. The program is open teenagers who would like to get an introduction to MMA and positive role models.



Sal Snickerz Bio:
Sal started training at the early age of seven in traditional martial arts. Beginning his Martial Arts career inKarate he found his love for kicking and as he reached his teens Sal obtained his second degree in tae kwon do. During this time, Sal went on to win the Canadian invitationals in 1991 as an adult competitor at only 16 years of age. Years later, Sal diversified his training in 2000, by branching off into Mixed Martial Arts and Muay Thai Kickboxing. He has competed in MMA, boxing, tae kwon do, Kickboxing and Muay Thai; both locally and internationally.
In the discourse of his international ventures, Sal trained and lived in Thailand where he trained with Sangmorakot Muay Thai. Months of intensive training would pay off as Sal would go on to becoming the only Canadian Representative for Sangmorakot Muay Thai; ranked amongst the top 3 gyms in Bangkok for the last decade. Sal is officially sanctioned by the WPMF (World Professional Muay Thai Federation) allowing rights to hold Muay Thai and boxing related events in Canada.
Sal is also a certified personal trainer with extensive knowledge in the field and is BCRPA accredited. Sal loves to teach classes and his lessons will keep you on your toes as they are physically challenging to all forms of athletes.
