Quest for Glory, The Beginning.

Quest for Glory, The Beginning. And what a beginning it was.

The Beginning brought 8 fights and every fight was a crowd pleaser. No on left it up to the judges. Chris Anderson delivered big hits, Said Mirzai showed the crowd why he deserved the belt and Brandon Shorter gave us a show worthy of the Katana Champion Sword. Oliver Vajda defended his title in the first round against Ronald Diaz, this 17 year old is a rare breed of up-and-coming fighters to watch for.

The event was held at the Croatian Cultural Center, this proved to be a great venue. We had a sold out show with over 700 guests. The crowd was great, they cheered and supported all the fighters and demonstrations of the evening.

Drako was a main event sponsor, they supplied our fighters with all the MMA Gloves, Katana Champion Swords, Drako T-shirts and Drako Sports Bags. Drako also supplied those sexy little outfits that the Quest for Glory Ring Girls had on. Special thanks to Ian of Drako. If you want to get the gear that the QGFC Champions wear go to!

Thank you to Elite Organic Nutrition. This company came on not only as an event sponsor but as a fighter sponsor as well. Tyler Pratt of Elite Organic Nutrition selected who he felt was the top fighter of the night and will now work as a sponsor directly for that fighter. Congratulations to Oliver Vajda of Carlson Gracie for being selected for this great opportunity. For more information about how to get healthy from the inside out go to

Big thanks to Info-fit for show sponsorship, The Croatian Cultural Center for our venue, Gerry Gianco for the ring, Shaky Egg Communications for the production, Glory MMA apparel for your volunteers and to everyone that helped to put on our first of many cards and showcase some of BC’s top MMA  talents.
Next show is Saturday, July 8th. All tickets only $35! Come see Tony Strong challenge Adam Blanchette as our main event of the evening. The full fight card will be released this week. For more information and to purchase tickets go to
