Revolution fight team's Bryce Kilpatrick in 10 Quest-ions

How did you get into the sport of martial arts?

One day i decided to show up to the gym and take a boxing class, since hockey was done for me. It was shortly thereafter i fell in love with all aspects of the various disciplines involved in MMA.

What is your favorite strike or submission?
If i had to choose i would say a simple roundhouse to the head.

What or who is your biggest inspiration?
I think what motivates me is the fact that there is no perfection, that this sport is consistently a challenge to push your self to higher limit. I think that GSP pretty much sums up an idol figure in the sense that hes always trying to find the way to better himself.

Who do you train with? Why? Who pushes you the hardest in the gym?
I train with Revolution Fight Team, and i think the biggest reason i am there is because everyone there is like a family always trying to better each other from the coaches to the students helping each other out on days there isn't even classes scheduled. I would have to say all my coaches push me hard to mention a few Danny Dlask, Paul Lalonde, and Tim Thurston.

Where do you feel most comfortable in a fight?
Being that i started this sport by learning all disciplines together, i would have to say i don't feel pressured anywhere in a fight.

What was your childhood and adolescents like?
My childhood consisted of many sports, hockey being the main. I have always lived an active lifestyle and being in the beginning of my adolescents i believe i have found something to push my body to the limits in a healthy lifestyle.

If you could say one thing to your opponent what would it be?
Lets put on a show!

What makes you different than any other local fighter in mma in your weight class?
I think this is where the fact i am from Revolution Martial Arts steps in. In that i have access to one of the greatest martial arts facilities around with endless options of pro and amateur training partners.

If you could watch anyone fight in any era who would it be?
Years before i even started MMA i was a huge fan of GSP, so i would love to get to see one of his fights live.

What do you want to be remembered for?
I would like to be remembered for someone who is a very exciting fighter to watch and a beast in the cage, yet a very humble and kind person outside of the cage.
